Consent for photo, video, and audio recordings at sports camps

What is this about?

Photo, video, and audio recordings may be taken during our sports camps. Insofar as a child or adolescent is recognizable or audible and we wish to use the recordings for public relations or advertising purposes, we will obtain separate consent from the person with parental authority.

Planned purposes of use

Once consent has been granted, suitable recordings may be used for documentation and reporting on the camp, as well as for public relations and the promotion of future SocialSports.de offers. This may include, in particular, publication on SocialSports.de, on social media channels operated by SocialSports.de, and in our own digital or printed information and promotional materials.

The consent also includes the voice and brief statements of the participating child, insofar as these are part of a photo, video, or audio recording. Attribution by name will only occur if there is a separate legal basis or consent for this.

Voluntariness

Consent is voluntary. Participation in the sports camp is not dependent on you consenting to photo, video, or audio recordings. If you do not consent, you or the participating child will not suffer any disadvantages.

Withdrawal

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by sending an e-mail to info@socialsports.de. The lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to the withdrawal remains unaffected. Following a withdrawal, we will not use the relevant recordings for new publications and will remove already published digital content, provided that this is technically and practically possible and legally required.

Note regarding publications on the internet and social media

When published on the internet and in social networks, content may be accessible worldwide and can be saved, redistributed, or modified by third parties. Complete deletion from all external copies or search engines can therefore not be guaranteed.

Protection of the child

Regardless of the consent, we respect the recognizable wishes of the participating child. Recordings made in inappropriate, exposing, particularly private, or health-sensitive situations will not be used for public relations or advertising.
